Trustees of The Wokingham Volunteer Centre voted to appoint Trustee Anne Williams as the new Chair of the charity’s Board at today’s AGM. Anne has been a Trustee since May 2023 and has already made valuable contributions to the organisation. In standing down from the Chair role, Julian remains a Trustee and reflected on the honour he felt in leading the Board for the past three years, commenting that the organisation has come a long way as it emerged from the Covid pandemic. Anne is looking forward to continuing to work with current and potential new Trustees as well as the staff team and helping to spread word of the Centre’s work through her links with the local business community, for example as an active member of Wokingham Positive Difference.
