The latest Volunteer Recruitment Fair proved to be a great success with many new volunteers being signed up by the 10 charities attending the event.
Trialling a new format and new venue, the mid-week Recruitment Fair proved popular among visitors and exhibitors alike. The event was held in the new Charity & Community Hub in Waterford House, home to more than 10 local charities and an accessible space for all charity and voluntary organisations working across the Borough to make use of.
Supplementing the regular weekend Volunteer Fairs held in Wokingham town centre, this has proved to be a viable alternative option and further events are planned for the future. Please keep a look out on our website for further details.
