We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a major boost towards expanding our Green ‘n’ Tidy Gardening Scheme!
Following a recent application, we have been granted £10,000 by the National Lottery Community Fund towards the cost of purchasing an extra van that will be essential for the running of this project.
This is our first ever National Lottery award and comes in response to the significant extra demand from local residents who need help to maintain their garden in a safe and tidy condition but are no longer able to manage it themselves or afford commercial services. To address this we have decided to expand the current project which involves purchasing a second vehicle, additional equipment and building new teams of volunteers on the ground.
