We were delighted to be presented with an award of £1200 by Wokingham Town Council at their Annual Meeting, held at the Town Hall on Tuesday 1 March.
The presentation was made by the Mayor, Cllr Tony Lack, and continues our long and productive partnership with the Town Council.
As well as delivering community transport and gardening services to residents within the Town Council area, we support more than one hundred local charities by helping them recruit new volunteers and, over the past year, worked closely with Town Council staff to deliver support to the many vaccination clinics held in the town. All of our services, however, are delivered by a small army of extremely generous and willing local volunteers and we are extremely grateful to each of them for their unstinting efforts in helping others across the town and the wider Borough area.
