The new Chair of The Wokingham Volunteer Centre, Julian Thompson, recorded a welcome message to volunteers when he was unable to meet them in person due to a positive Covid test.
Speaking to volunteers at a recent social evening, Julian was keen to thank them for all their good work recently and reserved special praise for outgoing Chair, Graham Powell, who remains as a Trustee. He highlighted how his experience and values are perfectly aligned with those of the Centre, talked about the Centre’s achievements and also looked ahead to further developments, as well as encouraging more people to step into volunteering.
