We’ve moved – to the new Charity & Community Hub!

We are delighted to have moved in to a brand new initiative in Wokingham town centre, alongside 10 other voluntary and community sector organisations. The new Charity & Community Hub is based on the first floor of Waterford House in Erftstadt Court, just off Denmark Street and up from Brown Bag coffee shop.

This development has been a long time in the making and is supported by Wokingham Borough Council. It will offer residents, volunteers and colleagues a central place to meet, work together and provide enhanced support to help improve further the offer to Borough residents. The many other charity and voluntary sector organisations across the Borough may also access the facility and there are further plans for ‘spokes’ of this hub to be established in other centres of the Borough over the coming years.

Current and prospective volunteers and clients are very welcome to call in and say hello, look for guidance on volunteer opportunities or to see any of the other charities in the Hub. Due to continued hybrid working, however, it may be best to call ahead first.

Other organisations housed here include PINC, CLASP, Involve, Healthwatch Wokingham, The Foodbank, Berkshire Wellbeing Service (Mind), Cranstoun, Homestart Wokingham and Link Visiting. Citizens Advice are also in the same building, occupying the second floor.
